Vision, Mission & Values

OUR MISSION STATEMENT:

Our mission is WHAT WE DO.  This is a one-sentence statement describing the reason that we, as an organization, exist.  It helps us guide decisions about priorities, actions, and responsibilities.

“WE EXIST TO REACH THOSE WHO ARE LOST, RESTORE THEM TO THEIR GOD-GIVEN PURPOSE AND
TO RELEASE THEM TO SHARE THE LOVE OF JESUS CHRIST WITH THE WORLD.”

OUR VISION:

This is our desired final state.  It is a one-sentence statement that gives a general idea of where we want to be in the future in the long term. It is not a physical place, rather, is the situation in which we would like to see us in the future. It is also a way of communicating our purpose in life and our values.

“WE ARE A CHURCH WHERE CHANGE TAKES PLACE TOWARDS SOMETHING NEW,
TOWARDS SOMETHING EXCELLENT, THROUGH LOVE AND GOD’S WORD.”

OUR VALUES:

Beliefs and important and enduring ideals shared by the members of our organization about what is good or bad, desirable or undesirable. These values have great influence on the behavior and attitude of our members and serve as general guidelines in all situations:

#1: Christ Centered

We strive to build people who are biblically grounded, spiritually mature, and culturally relevant, through the application of Scriptures, to be Christ-like. (Luke 9:23-24, 19:10, 2 Cor. 5:14-15)

#2: Community Oriented

We aren’t perfect people and we don’t pretend to be.  That is why the gospel creates a sense of community. It is in this community environment that we experience true fellowship by combining our gifts and resources to equip, encourage, and edify one another. (Psalms 133; Acts 2:42-47; 10:24-25)

#3: Missions Mentality

We are called to proclaim the message that God is reconciling the world to Himself, through Christ. That is why we want to influence the culture and the world with a missions-oriented mindset. (Mat. 28:19; Mar. 16:15; Acts 1:8)

#4: Service Oriented

We serve people intentionally in the name of Jesus through authentic relations that promote acts of service and words of hope. (Is. 61: 1, Mat. 25:35-36, Mar.10:43-45)
